“A scholarship is not just a reward for hard work, but a key to unlocking your potential.” Shiv Nadar University Chennai hosted its prestigious Scholarship Day on 11 November 2024 and distributed various types of study grants to meritorious students.
The event was held in two sessions. Session 1 started with the arrival of the Alumni Special Guests. Dr. S. Radha, Vice Principal, SSNCE welcomed the gathering. This was followed by Ms. Abinaya Elanchezhian’s (IAS, Deputy Collector, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, 2016 batch alumna) and Mr. Stalin Muthusamy’s (Founder and CEO at Aaytham Consulting, 2013 batch alumnus) inspiring addresses.
Session 2 began with a welcome address by Mr. Sundar Mahalingam, President – Strategy, Shiv Nadar Foundation. This session had the gracious presence of our esteemed guest of honour, Mr. Ranjit Ramachandran, Director and formerly CEO at Plant Lipids. 92 meritorious candidates received generous scholarships in various categories like Merit Scholarship, Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship, Sports Scholarship, Scholarship for Potential Undergraduate Rural students (SPURS) and Shiv Nadar Foundation Scholarship for Vidya Gyan Students.
