EduQuest, Shiv Nadar University Chennai’s flagship educational fest, is a thrilling platform for high school students from grade 9 to 12 to explore the world of business and technology through a quiz competition and a project expo and a peek into university life through open house and career guidance programs.

This is a call to all quiz enthusiasts. Shiv Nadar University Chennai brings to you a one-of-a-kind, South India level quiz competition for school students of grade 9 to 12. Our quiz master, Dr. M Rangarajan is coming to your city to search for the young bright minds of this generation. We have our zonal rounds in Salem, Pondicherry, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore, Ooty, Hosur, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Vellore, Trivandrum, Kochi, Erode, Mysore, Guntur, Tanjore and Chennai. The winners in each of the zonal rounds will be called to the SNUC campus for the grand finale to find our top QuBiz of the year. Get ready for the exciting rounds of quizzing by pioneers of the business world, for high tension rounds and nail-biting finishes.
ProjectX
Shiv Nadar University Chennai brings to you “Project X”, a project competition for school students. Form teams of max 2 participants and submit your proposals. A panel of distinguished and highly qualified professionals will evaluate your projects for your creativity and scientific scope. The best projects will be showcased here on campus, and you can stand a chance to win exciting prizes and a merit scholarship if you get admission in Shiv Nadar University, Chennai. Put on your thinking caps on! The last day of submission of entries is to be announced. As society innovates and technology advances let us use our innovation to make an impact on the prosperous future of our country!

Eduquest 2022 – Glimpse
The first edition of QuBiz was conducted successfully by renowned quizmaster, Dr Rangarajan, CEO of Mindgames, in 7 regions – Coimbatore, Madurai, Tuticorin, Trichy, Trivandrum, Kochi and Chennai and ProjectX had tech-savvy students showcasing their ideas and innovations. More than 1500 teams participated, and the winners were awarded cash prizes and scholarships worth 4 lakhs.

Shiv Nadar University hosted EduQuest’23, a signature event featuring QuBiz, a premier South Indian quiz competition, and ProjectX, a cutting-edge project showcase. Following the previous season, zonal rounds were conducted additioanlly in Tirunelveli, Salem, Ooty, Hyderabad, Guntur, Pondicherry, and Bangalore, with the winners advancing to the finale at the SNUC Campus. The QuBiz was seamlessly conducted by renowned Quizmaster Dr M. Rangarajan, CEO of Mindgames, and ProjectX, the theme of which was “STEM for sustainability” was evaluated by SNUC’s renowned faculty from the department of engineering. The winners were awarded noteworthy cash prizes and scholarships worth 7.2 lakhs!

EduQuest’24 witnessed a remarkable expansion, bringing together participants from across India and beyond for the flagship events – QuBiz and ProjectX. QuBiz, conducted by renowned Quizmaster Dr. M Rangarajan, engaged 2,177 students from 161 schools across 15 cities, while ProjectX, themed “Innovations for a Sustainable Future,” featured 336 students from 56 schools across 30 cities.
For the first time, EduQuest welcomed international teams from Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Dhaka, adding a truly global dimension to the competition. The grand finale at Shiv Nadar University Chennai became a vibrant celebration of curiosity, innovation, and collaboration, marking a milestone season that continues to inspire the brightest young minds.

Project Expo for school students
This year’s theme, “STEM for Innovation”, encourages young minds to use science and technology to tackle environmental challenges. By implementing simple, practical changes in everyday life, we can all contribute to a more sustainable future.
Top projects will be showcased on campus, with winners receiving recognition, prizes, and a merit scholarship to SNU Chennai. Register now and watch for the deadline!
Grand Prizes
- 1st Place : 25,000 + 3,20,000 scholarship*
- 2nd Place : 10,000
- 3rd Place : 5,000
*Scholarship Details:
The first-prize winners will receive scholarships worth ₹40,000/student annually for four years (applicable to two team members), provided they meet the eligibility criteria for Engineering programs offered at SNU Chennai, including selection in SNUCEE and Boards.
Guidelines
Team Composition
- Each team should consist of 2 members.
- Students from grades 9-12 are eligible to participate.
- Any number of teams from a school is allowed.
Registration
- Registration is free of cost
Submission Requirements
- A detailed project proposal following the given template.
- A video or photographs of the prototype/project showcasing its functionality [Optional]
- Submissions must be uploaded via the provided google Form
Format
- Ensure the project files are in acceptable formats (e.g., PDF/PPT for the proposal, MP4/PNG/JPG for media).
- Presentation can contain a maximum of 10 slides.
- File Name for Proposal: Team_Name.pdf.
- For any additional links provided, ensure that anyone with the link can view.
Deadline
- The last date to submit the proposals and project media is 10th January, 2026.
- The Grand Finale will be held on 21 January 2026.
Certification
- Certificates will be issued to all participants.
