Judah represents India as a finalist at Harvard University’s premier hackathon, HackHarvard 2024, Cambridge, United States

Judah Jos Jacinth, a final-year CSE (IoT) student, was selected by Harvard University to compete and represent India at their annual premier hackathon, HackHarvard 2024, held on their campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. The competition gathered over 500 students from 22 countries, comprising 284 universities, to develop solutions across four themes: Smart Cities, All Health, Sustainability, and Open Data. Harvard hosted the hackathon from October 11-13, 2024, featuring lectures from professors and industry professionals.
 
During his time at Harvard, he developed a project called Teleport, aimed at improving Smart Cities globally. His solution involved a site-to-site connectivity network for the app, utilizing facial segmentation through deep learning. The core idea revolved around enabling augmented reality via a webcam video stream. He achieved the notable accomplishment of completing this project at Harvard University while competing on an international scale.
