NSS Overview
The National Service Scheme (NSS) at Shiv Nadar University Chennai embodies the motto “Not Me But You,” fostering social responsibility and community service among students. Our NSS unit actively engages in various community development initiatives, environmental conservation projects, and social awareness campaigns in and around Chennai. Through structured programs and volunteer activities, students gain hands-on experience in addressing societal challenges while developing leadership skills and civic consciousness. The unit organizes regular blood donation camps, tree plantation drives, rural development programs, and educational outreach activities, creating meaningful impact in neighboring communities. We emphasize the holistic development of students by combining academic excellence with social responsibility, preparing them to be conscientious citizens who contribute positively to society.
