Educational Qualifications
- BSc., (Mathematics); M.Sc.Tech., (Industrial Mathematics with Computer Applications); MPhil (Mathematics); PhD (Mathematics) from the Gandhigram Rural Institute – Deemed to be University, Gandhigram.
- During his PhD, he received JRF & SRF through DST Inspire Fellowship, DST, New Delhi.
- Received his Postdoctoral Fellowship from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
V. Vembarasan is working as an Associate Professor of Mathematics, School of Science & Humanities, Shiv Nadar University Chennai, Kalavakkam – 603110, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu from April 2025. He has obtained his B.Sc., (Mathematics), M.Sc.Tech., (Industrial Mathematics with Computer Applications), M.Phil., (Mathematics), and Ph.D., (Mathematics) degrees from Gandhigram Rural Institute – Deemed University, Gandhigram in the years 2006, 2009, 2010, and 2013 respectively. He has received a gold medal in M.Sc.Tech., degree for secured first rank holder. During his Ph.D. degree, he was awarded DST Inspire Fellowship (JRF & SRF) funded by the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. His Ph.D., thesis entitled “Studies on State Estimation and Synchronization for Continuous-Time Dynamical Systems” awarded on the merit of Highly Commended. His research experiences are in the field of stability analysis of time-delay systems, neural networks, fuzzy control systems, chaos synchronization. Also, he has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur 50603, Malaysia during Jan.2014-Jan.2016. During his postdoctoral fellowship, he acquired research experience in the fields of machine learning and pattern recognition. Prior to join SNU Chennai, he was worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering from March 2016 till July 2021. At SNU Chennai, he worked as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics, from August 2021 till March 2025. He is the recognized supervisor for guiding Ph. D candidates of Shiv Nadar University Chennai, and he was the recognized supervisor for guiding Ph.D. / M.S candidates of Anna University. To his credit, he has published 20 research articles in SCI journals and national/international conferences. He has participated in many national/international conferences /workshops /symposiums across the nation. He is an active reviewer for many SCI/SCIE journals. He is the Member of IEEE, IAENG.
