Dr. Thiruvenkadam Thiagarajan, Associate Professor in Department of Management Studies, School of Commerce and Management has 25 years of teaching experience. Before transferring to SNU Chennai he was working in SSN School of Management since 2011. Before joining SSN he worked in reputed higher education institutions such as Sri Ramachandra College of Management, SRM Easwari Engineering College and Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology. His teaching and research interests focus on the areas of Marketing and HR. He has participated over 30+ FDPs including one in IIM (K), presented 30 research papers in international conferences, 10 papers in national conferences, published 30+ research papers in International Referred Journals, 17 papers in National Journals and 10 papers in edited volumes and he also published three books. He had produced two Ph.Ds and guiding 5 Ph.D research Scholars under Anna University. He had organized many National/International Conferences, HR Conclaves, Students Symposiums, FDPs and Workshops. He is also acting as a consultant for few companies and secured Consultancy Projects for around Rs. 6 Lakhs till date. He is instrumental in signing an MOU between SSN School of Management and Numeric UPS a group brand of Legrand (global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructure) and he is closely working with number of companies in terms of training, Executive Development, Industry Sponsored Research, consultancy, Industry-Institute Partnership and so on.

Projects
- Instrumental in signing an MOU between Numeric UPS and SSN School of Management in the year 2022 for three years. The MOU resulted in Industry Trainings, Students Internships with Stipend, Faculty exchange, invited talks, guest lectures etc.
- Secured and organized a training program on the topic “Finance for Non-Finance Managers” for the managers and executives of Numeric UPS on 14th and 15th November 2022.
- Completed a consultancy project on the topic, “Creating a Seller Datawarehouse” for Whitechilly trading & services Pvt ltd., Chennai for Rs. 1,80,000 + GST in the year 2021-22.
- Completed a consultancy project on the topic, “Micro-Market Research for a Real Estate Project at Perungavour” for GJ Real Estates, Madhavaram, Chennai for Rs. 1,17,000 + GST completed in the year 2023.
- Completed a consultancy project on the topic, “Enhancing the User Experience of Stakeholders of Poojashoppers.com” on behalf of Digital360 Global Pvt. Ltd., Chennai for Rs.1, 25,000 + GST completed in the year Feb 2024.
- Secured and organized a training programme on the topic “Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST)” for the employees of different levels of Numeric UPS in the month of September 2024.
