Dr. Thenmozhi D is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Shiv Nadar University, Chennai, India, with 29 years of teaching and research experience. Before joining SNU, she worked at SSN College of Engineering from 2000 onwards. She received her degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Madras, her degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, and her Ph.D. in Natural Language Processing from Anna University, Chennai. Her research interests include Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Data Science. She has published more than 145 research papers in international journals and conferences. She has received research grants from the Department of Science and Technology for two projects worth ₹52 lakhs. She has been granted one patent and has published two patents. She has completed one PhD scholar and guiding five scholars. Dr. Thenmozhi has organised several shared tasks as part of leading international conferences, including FIRE, ACL, RANLP, NAACL, and EACL, contributing to the creation and release of benchmark datasets in the field of Natural Language Processing. She serves as an Associate Editor of the ACM Transactions on Asian and Low-Resource Language Information Processing (TALLIP) journal and has served as a Guest Editor for special issues of TALLIP and Computer Speech & Language (CSL) journals
