Dr. Subin Sahayam joined Shiv Nadar University Chennai as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering on 16th June 2023. He completed his B.E from University College of Engineering, Nagercoil in 2015 and M.E from SSN College of Engineering, Chennai in 2017. He has defended his Ph.D. thesis from Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Kancheepuram (IIITDM) in 2023 November. He also served as a Teaching Assistant for five years in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering for Data Structures and Algorithms, C Programming, Object Oriented Programming, Pattern Recognition, Deep Learning, Data Science for Engineers, Database Management System, and Computer Network courses and laboratories. 

His area of research includes Medical Image Processing, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Bioinformatics. His PhD thesis was based on medical image analysis, focusing on segmentation of brain tumors in medical image analysis, focusing on brain tumor segmentation using advanced deep-learning techniques. His research represents a significant contribution to his publications in top-tier journals and conferences. His research findings have been disseminated in reputable journals such as Computers in Biology and Medicine, and Biomedical Signal Processing and Control
