Assistant Professor
Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Educational Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences, Department of Mathematical Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, India.
- M.Sc. in Mathematics with Computer Science, Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi, India
Dr. Satish Kumar joined Shiv Nadar University Chennai, India, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in April 2025. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences, with a specialization in Cryptography and Algebraic Coding Theory, from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, India.
His research interests lie in the design and analysis of cryptographic primitives based on non-associative algebraic structures such as quasigroups and loops. He is also actively involved in the development of error-detecting and error-correcting algebraic codes utilizing quasigroup structures.
During his doctoral research, Dr. Satish Kumar published five research papers in reputed international journals and presented his work at several national and international conferences. He has also qualified the GATE examination in both 2018 and 2019.
