Dr. Santhi Natarajan is an Associate Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering – Research, at Shiv Nadar University, Chennai. She has completed her doctoral and post-doctoral research tenure at the Indian Institute of Science. Her research has involved scientific, technical as well as commercially-relevant developments in the field of accelerated Supercomputing Platforms, Radiogenomics, Genome Informatics, AI enabled business analytics and machine learning. She has a strong expertise in the design and development of domain specific hardware accelerators for massively parallel multi-core coarse and fine-grained reconfigurable platforms.She has been an Industrial Consultant for start-ups, Public Sector and Private Sector organizations. Entrepreneur (ReneLife Pvt Limited) She is a trained industry/academia leader and passionate result-oriented researcher, focused on interdisciplinary research and scientific principles, with significant focus on instantiating commercially viable strategies to accelerate product life cycle and optimization. She started off her career as a Scientist with the Indian Space Research Organization. She has worked in Network Sound Inc, California, a start up mentored by Stanford Universtiy, specialized in real time digital pro audio and control distribution solutions over Ethernet or Fiber for the pro audio market. Later, she worked in Infosys, where she has been a key contributor in embedded system design and product engineering in health care, video, industrial and communication verticals. During her PhD at IISc, she has assisted in founding ReneLife Pvt. Ltd. ReneLife (www.renelife.co.in): ReneLife is a technology start[1]up, launched in June 2016, as a faculty enterprise of the Indian Institute of Science, in the area of Life Sciences. Prior joining SNU, she has served as Associate Professor and lead academician in the Department of AI & ML, BMS Institute of Technology and Management, Bangalore, where she played a very pivotal role in establishing the department in July 2019. She has been a lead researcher in laying the foundation work for establishment of Centre of Excellence in AI & Data Analytics. She has also been the SME for the MTech Course in AI, Kerala Technological University.
