Dr. P. Venugopal M.Sc., M.Phil., PhD. Email id : [email protected] Dr P. Venugopal, Professor of Mathematics, has 25years of teaching experience, including ten years of research experience. He was with SSN from its inception. He was the Head of the Department of Mathematics at SSN before joining SNU Chennai. He received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and M.Phil. degrees from St. Joseph’s College(Autonomous), Trichy, affiliated with Bharathidasan University and PhD, from Loyola College (Autonomous), Chennai, affiliated with the University of Madras. While doing his PhD, he received “REV. FR. RACINE AWARD” from Loyola College, Chennai, in 2007 for the Best Research Student in the Department of Mathematics.
He has qualified for the State Level Educational Testing (SLET) for Lectureship held in May 2000, conducted by Bharathidasan University; Tiruchirappalli (Accredited by the UGC). He has received the BEST TEACHER AWARD from SSN Institutions three times.
He has published several research papers in refereed international journals and proceedings of international conferences. He has attended various workshops and Conferences at the National and International levels. He has presented papers at the 5th Asian Mathematical Conference (AMC 2009) during June 22-26, 2009, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; International Conference on Computing Sciences and Engineering (ICCSE 2015) during March 15-17, 2015, Kuwait and 1ST Workshop on Graph Theory, Combinatorics and Applications (GCTA-2019) during Oct. 9-10, 2019, UAE University, Al Ain, UAE.
He has completed two Ph. Ds and presently guiding four students under various applications of graph theory.
He has co-authored three books in Engineering Mathematics.
