Dr. P. Nagapandiselvi received her bachelor’s degree in physics from Madurai Kamaraj University in the year 2004. Subsequently, she obtained her M.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees in Physics with distinction from Bharathidasan University and received her Doctoral degree from Anna University in the year 2015. Her research work primarily focuses on the synthesis and characterization of organic, inorganic, and semi-organic materials for nonlinear optical applications, thin films for solar cell applications, photocatalysis, alternative energy sources, and theoretical investigations using DFT analysis. During her research career, she worked as a Project Fellow in UGC- and CSIR-funded projects and was later selected as a Senior Research Fellow by CSIR. She also served in the Department of Physics, Anna University, for one year. Subsequently, she joined SSN College of Engineering and later moved to Shiv Nadar University, Chennai.
