Dr. B. Senthil Rathi earned her B.Tech. degree in Chemical Engineering from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Anna University, graduating with University Rank, and completed her M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Anna University, where she was awarded a University Gold Medal. She received her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Anna University in 2022, with her doctoral research focused on the removal of toxic arsenic from aqueous solutions using electrodeionization technology. Her research interests include wastewater treatment, emerging contaminant removal, adsorption and separation technologies, biohydrogen production, membrane processes, nanomaterials, and sustainable environmental engineering. Following her doctoral studies, Dr. Senthil Rathi continued her research as an International Research Fellow (Remote) at the Institute of Sustainable Energy (ISE), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia, where she worked on sustainable energy technologies, biohydrogen production, advanced materials for environmental remediation, and renewable energy systems. Her research has resulted in more than 50+ SCI-indexed journal publications, two books, several book chapters, patents, and recognition among the Stanford University World’s Top 2% Scientists.
