Educational Qualifications
- Ph.D Mathematics, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal, M.P
- M.Sc Mathematics, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara Gujarat
- B.Sc Mathematics, PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Dr. Arusha joined SNU Chennai as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics in August 2025. She received her Mathematical training from IISER Bhopal (Ph.D), M.S. University Baroda (M.Sc), PSGR Krishnammal College for Women (B.Sc) and MTTS Summer camps. Prior to her association with SNU, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT Bombay, TIFR Mumbai and IIT Dharwad.
Her research interests lie in Algebraic Geometry and Commutative Algebra. She studies vector bundles on nodal curves and their moduli spaces. Her aim so far has been to generalise results known for smooth curves to curves with at most nodes as singularities.
She is passionate about teaching Mathematics and has taught and mentored students hailing from different parts of the country through programmes conducted by MTTS Trust and IWM.
