Dr. A. Saravanan is an accomplished academician with over 17 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Shiv Nadar University, Chennai, since 1 July 2026. Prior to this, he served as an Assistant Professor at Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar (SSN) College of Engineering, Chennai, from May 2023 to June 2026, and as an Associate Professor at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education from June 2009 to May 2023. Served as a part-time member of the faculty of the Milwaukee School of Engineering,(MSOE) as a Lecturer in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department effective September 1, 2021, through August 31, 2022.  He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education in 2019. He completed his Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering, affiliated with Anna University, Tirunelveli, in 2009. He earned his Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology, affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, in 2007. He has successfully supervised two Ph.D. scholars who have been awarded the doctoral degree under his guidance.
