The NSS and YRC volunteers gathered to understand the role of youth in rehabilitating planet earth. The speaker was Mr. P. Natarajan, Founder, Namma Ooru Foundation, an NGO. He elaborated the reasons for the degradation of earth, and some measures to be undertaken to rehabilitate it. He also explained the common techniques adopted in waste management. He elaborated the opportunities available for youth in these areas as a career path.
