Mudunuri Lakshmi Geethika, a second-year B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science student at Shiv Nadar University Chennai, won two silver medals at the 11th Sub-Junior & Junior Inter-District Aquatic Championship 2026, held at the Aqua Sports Complex, Beach Road, Visakhapatnam, from 18 to 19 July 2026. Organised by the Visakha District Swimming Association, the championship featured talented swimmers from across the region.

Representing NTR District in the Group IA category, Geethika secured a silver medal in the 50-metre Freestyle event with a timing of 38.66 seconds and another silver medal in the 50-metre Breaststroke event with a timing of 55.93 seconds. Her performance reflects her dedication and excellence in competitive swimming.
