Earth Week Celebrations
Shiv Nadar University Chennai participated in the Bharat Environment Program 2026 conducted by Research Heights foundation and Environment Protection Training & Research Institute. Bharat environment program was organized in view of Earth Week during April 22-29, 2026. Research Heights Foundation (RHF) is a Section-8, mission-governed institution that aligns government priorities, industry capability/CSR and academic expertise into a single execution ecosystem for research, innovation, and SDG implementation. NSS and YRC units performed a series of activities, Sustainability Pledge , Green Codex , Pictionary , Sustainability Awareness by students and faculty, Awareness on Green Audit and sustainability practices in the campus, Sustainability Quiz, Trash To Treasure, Race to Earth and Green Guess, and uploaded the report, photos in the Research Heights website.
Based on this our university was given Platinum Certification. The award of certificate was done on June 1, 2026.
