As part of the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative, three saplings were planted on 12 June 2026 by the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. S.K. Bhattacharya, our Registrar, Prof. N. Nallusamy, and Prof. Dr. P. Venugopal.

On this occasion, faculty members, staff, and research scholars were present and participated in the event. Three Mantharai saplings were planted as a symbol of environmental responsibility and commitment to sustainability.

The gathering was briefed about the objectives of the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” drive, which encourages individuals to plant and nurture trees in honour of their mothers while contributing to environmental conservation. The participants appreciated the initiative and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting a greener and healthier environment.
