MoU with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras

Shiv Nadar University Chennai and  Indian Institute of Technology Madras signed an MoU on 23rd June 2025, to open up academic avenues for the students, research scholars and faculty members. The initiative was led by Prof. Chandrakala S. MoU was signed by Dr. Sriman Kumar Bhattacharyya, Vice-Chancellor, Shiv Nadar University Chennai, and Prof. Raghunathan Rengaswamy, Dean Global Engagement, IIT Madras, in the presence of the Registrar, Dr. Nallusamy N, Prof. Chandrakala S,  SNU Chennai and Prof. Balaji Srinivasan, IIT Madras.

The MoU is aimed at fostering academic excellence, faculty and student exchange, research collaboration, and quality education. The MoU envisions combined efforts in the areas of joint academic programmes, research, and training along with jointly organizing conferences and symposiums on thematic areas of relevance. The MoU would remain in force for a period of five years from the date of its signature and will be extended with mutual understanding.

Dr. Sriman Kumar Bhattacharyya, Vice Chancellor of Shiv Nadar University Chennai, said, “We are delighted to associate ourselves with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. This understanding marks a significant step forward in fostering collaboration in academic and research activities across areas of mutual interest. I am confident that it will offer valuable opportunities to both students and faculty members through the exchange of academic resources and programs. This will help to achieve sponsorship of joint seminars, workshops, and other academic events.”
