Dr S. A. Srinivasan earned his PhD from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli in 2020. In his doctoral research, he was working on Tribological and corrosion behavior of squeeze cast VAL12 aerospace alloy strengthened by rare-earth dispersoid. After his PhD, he joined the DSIR R&D laboratory of M/s. Fluidtherm Technology (P) Ltd., Chennai as a Research Associate. During this period, he was working on a project named Development of Nano Alumina Foams by Thermo Chemical process for heat insulation applications and Optimisation of steel heat treatment process. Subsequently, he joined High Energy Batteries (India) Ltd., Mathur, as a Manager (R&D), where he headed the New Projects (Green Energy Hydrogen) division, in which he specifically focused on projects in collaboration with CHT, IOCL, and GAIL on projects of National Importance. Post industrial experiences, he joined SSN College of Engineering as an Assistant Professor, and he has been serving SSN since 2023 and he moved to Shiv Nadar University, Chennai.
