Dr. D. Praveen Sam is an Associate Professor of English whose research lies at the intersection of language education, educational technology, management, and the social sciences. With over two decades of experience spanning higher education and the e-learning industry, he has developed expertise in designing innovative learning ecosystems that integrate pedagogy, technology, and learner engagement. His professional journey includes significant experience as an e-Learning Specialist, where he led content standardization, curriculum architecture, instructional design, and the development of asynchronous and synchronous learning solutions for international educational programs. This experience continues to inform his research on AI-assisted learning, digital pedagogy, technology-enhanced language education, and learner-centered instructional design. Dr. Praveen Sam’s research extends beyond English Language Teaching into multidisciplinary domains including Artificial Intelligence in Education, Digital Leadership, Organizational Transformation, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Sustainability, Ecocriticism, Human Values, and Educational Psychology. He is currently pursuing a second PhD in Management Studies, focusing on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), reflecting his commitment to understanding organizational transformation through interdisciplinary research. An active doctoral supervisor, he has successfully guided PhD scholars and currently supervises research across diverse areas such as AI-assisted language learning, vocabulary acquisition, environmental humanities, digital education, and literary studies. His collaborative research with scholars from engineering, management, environmental sciences, education, and humanities has resulted in publications in leading international journals, demonstrating his commitment to addressing complex societal challenges through interdisciplinary inquiry. Dr. Praveen Sam has authored several university textbooks and research publications and actively collaborates with national and international researchers on projects involving educational innovation, technology adoption, organizational development, and human-centered learning. He welcomes doctoral scholars and research collaborators who are interested in interdisciplinary research at the convergence of language, technology, management, education, and society.
