Dr. Ajay Kumar Reddy Poreddy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Shiv Nadar University Chennai. Prior to joining Shiv Nadar University Chennai, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar (SSN) College of Engineering, Chennai. He received his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Kancheepuram, India. His research interests include computer vision, multimedia signal processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, with a primary focus on no-reference image and video quality assessment. His work encompasses conventional, stereoscopic, virtual reality, underwater, AI-generated, and medical imaging applications, integrating statistical image modeling, deep learning, and human visual perception to develop robust multimedia quality assessment algorithms. His current research aims to develop perceptually inspired and trustworthy AI frameworks for next-generation multimedia, healthcare, and visual communication systems.
