Dr.Vijaya Banu, C is a Professor in the Department of Commerce, School of Commerce and Management , Shiv Nadar University Chennai. She completed her Ph.D. in Commerce- with a specialisation in Human Resource Management in 2000 from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. She has over 26 years of experience in academics. Prior to her association with SNU she served as faculty for 26 years in the School of Management, SASTRA Deemed University, Thanjavur.
As a research Supervisor she has successfully guided 7 Ph.D scholars . Her scholarly contributions include 115 plus research publications indexed in Scopus, of which 37 are also listed in the Web of Science and 8 in ABDC listing, additionally, she has authored 12 case studies and 10 plus book chapters.
Work Experience
Before joining SNUC, she served as a Professor at the School of Management, SASTRA Deemed University, Thanjavur, where she held various academic roles over a span of 26 years, from July 1999 to April 2025.
