The School of Engineering at SNU, Chennai offers three futuristic programs that will enable the graduates to contribute effectively to the society.

These three programs are mutually reinforcing. Stimuli for Technological Innovation & Research for Students (STIRS)

  • Special scholarship scheme through which Shiv Nadar University Chennai funds student projects from the first-year of study
  • Students can apply for an internal-funded projects by submitting a proposal, taking a faculty member as supervisor.
  • Short-listed projects will be funded upto Rs. 30,000/- to carry out their ideas.
  • Come with an idea, experiment it, make it as a product, and patent it.
  • This will further enable the undergrad students to publish their work in conferences and journals.
