Educational Qualifications
- PhD, MS(Physics) and MS(Electrical Engineering) from Purdue University in 1985
Ganesh Samudra obtained PhD, MS(Physics) and MS(Electrical Engineering) from Purdue University in 1985.
He was tenured faculty in the National university of Singapore (NUS) for last 30 years in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) till June 2019. He had4 years of industrial experience in Texas Instruments prior to joining NUS. He was Visiting Professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on sabbatical leave for one year in 2001.
He has extensive experience in teaching, research, degree program administration, curriculum development and accreditation.
His research is mainly in both power and nanoscale semiconductor devices. He has published on enhancing performance of nanoscale devices through simulations and experimentation in collaboration. He has also worked on oxide bipass and poly flanked super junction Si devices and GaN power devices. He has over 300 research papers and 4 education publications. He has co-authored a book on power microelectronics.
