Dr. Dr. Murugan S P joined Shiv Nadar University Chennai as Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the School of Science and Humanities on 19th September, 2022.Dr. Murugan S P was a former visiting fellow at Chennai Mathematical Institute, Chennai. He received his BSc and MSc degrees from the Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University.He completed the fellowship exams CSIR-JRF with 36 Rank all over India.He also got the National Board for Higher Mathematics, Department of Atomic Energy, fellowship in the year 2013. He joined as a Research Scholar at Chennai Mathematical Institute and completed his Ph.D. degree in the year 2022.In 2019, He was appointed as a postdoctoral fellow at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Mohali.His areas of interests are Operator Algebra, Spectral Graph theory and Quantum information and computing.
