Dr. M. S. Devi is an experienced Finance Faculty/Professional with a Doctorate in the area of Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions. She brings a blend of teaching and industry experience.  She has taught Graduate and Post Graduate commerce students in SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Navi Mumbai for over 8 years. She has also taught Corporate Finance, Securities Analysis and Portfolio Management, Commercial Banking, Management Accounting to Post Graduate Management students (PGDM & MMS) and Executive MBA students in SIES College of Management Studies, Navi Mumbai for over 8 years. Her vast industry experience includes job profiles both in Manufacturing and Service industry for a period of nine years. Dr. Devi is trained in Case Method Teaching in IIM – Ahmedabad by Professors from Harvard Business School. She is well recognized for her Pedagogical approach in teaching to maximize student engagement.  Dr. Devi had published and presented research papers in National & International Research Seminars, and Finance Journals.  She has been awarded with the Best Research Paper Awards for some of her research works.  She has organized few Research Conferences in Finance as a convenor.  She also served as an Editor for Accounting and Finance Journals (SIES Journal of Applied Finance and Accounting) She has written Book chapters and published ET cases for Management students. Dr. Devi is very passionate in mentoring and contribution to the community.  She is one of the founding faculty of an Innovative Industry Engagement program, SIESCOMS- IDEATHON. She has mentored several students on real time projects given by National Stock Exchange, Mumbai.  She is an active contributing writer for MarketExpress, Inc., a global insights and analysis sharing platform.  She also served as a Panelist for a conclave at Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. She along with her team of faculty members conducted Faculty Development Programs in the area of contemporary Pedagogy for Millennials.  She is also a regular Guest speaker for Graduate Commerce students at other Mumbai based colleges. She is also a Member of Advisory Board of Thavamani Ventures for consulting and community building.
