On 24 August, the 39 students of Shiv Nadar University Chennai who completed a 100-hour foreign language training in French or German offered by two language institutes (InAWord and Sprachlingua) were felicitated with certificates. The event was attended by the Vice Chancellor Prof. S. K. Bhattacharyya, Dr. Deepesh Chandrasekharan and students.

The Vice Chancellor gave away the certificates and then addressed the students, congratulating them and speaking about the benefits of learning new languages. A few students gave their feedback on how exciting the journey was and how the foreign language course had amplified their learning journey. They also expressed their confidence that knowledge of the foreign language would help them in their career and higher education prospects.
